Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexican partner of AMERICAS opens e- infrastructure Task Force during the CUDI Spring Conference 2012


CUDI (in Spanish: Corporación Universitaria para el Desarrollo de Internet) is a Mexican non-profit consortium building and operating the most important high-performance backbone network for research and education in the country. There are approximately 260 affiliated institutions all over the Mexican territory participating in the CUDI-Network.

The biannual e-infrastructure conferences of the Network are well known within the Mexican ICT community for their quality and variety of conferences, workshops and round tables. The Spring Conference 2012 is going to be held from the 23rd to the 25th of May in one of the most important research centres of the country, the CICESE (Centre for Scientific Research and Higher Education), located in the city Ensenada in the north of the country.

During the plenary session of the network on the last day of the event the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexican partner of AMERICAS will inaugurate the first e- infrastructure Task Force in front of leading national and international audience in the field.
