AMERICAS ICT Forum in Brazil, 31 July 2013

The AMERICAS Project invites you to the next ICT Forum that will take place in Brasilia, Brazil 31 July. The event consists on one-day of consultation and dialogue to explore new opportunities for a stronger collaboration in ICT and to support the policy dialogue between Brazilian, Latin American and European research organizations, enterprises and institutions performing research and innovation in ICT.

Hosted by the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), the ICT Forum is organized by the AMERICAS Project (www.americasproject.eu), funded by the European Union FP7-ICTprogramme, with the support of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), the Brazilian National Education and Research Network (RNP) and the European Commission.

The ICT Forum is an excellent opportunity to engage with potential project partners and share views on the priorities and challenges for EU-LAC collaboration in ICT research and innovation. It will provide input to the EU-Brazil dialogue in ICT, in the broader cooperation framework between Latin America and Europe in Science and Technology.

The main objectives of the ICT Forum in Brazil are
  • Exploring Brazil thematic priorities for ICT R&I cooperation in Horizon 2020
  • Showcasing e-Infrastructures as a driver for ICT cooperation
  •  Exploring joint initiatives for EU-LAC cooperation in ICT
