The European Commission, DG Research, issued a new document that underlines the successful collaboration between the EU and the Latin American and Caribbean region: entitled "Towards the EU-LAC Knowledge Area", it lists successful research projects in the area of INCO (International Cooperation of DG Research), health, transport, fisheries etc. Based on the so-called "Knowledge Triangle": Education - S&T - Innovation, it emphasizes the importance of this collaboration and gives a future outlook. Unfortunately, no ICT project between EU-LA has been included in the report.
