As such, CAMTIC will join the national committee to strengthen Costa Rica's participation in cooperation activities in science and technology with the European Union, as part of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).CAMTIC officially joined the initiative at the invitation of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MICIT, for its acronym in Spanish), who coordinates the National Contact Point network which consists of inter-agency and interdisciplinary strategic actors.
