ABEST will coordinate through the PRO-IDEAL project, the ICT Forum 2011 on October 6 at Fundación Cassará (Av. de Mayo 1194, Ciudad de Buenos Aires) to analyse the cooperation of ICT research and development between Argentina and Europe, as well as to offer guidelines on the ICT policies and priorities status in Argentina. The event will be divided into two phases: 1) a general conference of half day to introduce the Argentina- EU ICT cooperation perspectives; the PRO-IDEAL PLUS project outcomes and objectives so far, and the Argentina?s R&D&i capacities: presentation of Argentinean ICT R&D&i projects; 2) at the end of the afternoon, the FP7-ICT project FIRST will be presented followed by the PLATA (Argentinean I+D+i Platform) general assembly.
ABEST was created in October 2005. It operates at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of the Nation (MINCyT), in the National Directorate of International Relations with co-funding of the European Union and the MINCyT.
PRO-IDEAL PLUS Project (its acronym stands for -Promotion of an ICT Dialogue between Europe and Latin America-) with the aim of promoting the ICT programme of FP7 in the region.
